Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: September 2026 • Governs all sales and services on kesula.store
1.General Terms & Ownership
Welcome to KESULA (accessible at https://kesula.store), an artisanal e-commerce initiative dedicated to the preservation of Nomadic Lambada and Banjara heritage needlecraft. The platform is owned and managed by KESULA Handicrafts, having its registered studio at Santhosh Colony, Kalaburagi, Karnataka - 585102, India.
By accessing our website, browsing our catalog, or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and all associated policies (Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Shipping Policy).
2. Authentic Handcrafted Nature & Natural Variations
Every garment showcased on KESULA is individually hand-embroidered by rural Lambada women artisans utilizing traditional needlework, genuine mirror craft (Abhla bharat), and hand-sewn cowrie shells.
Unlike factory machine-printed fabrics, subtle irregularities in thread tension, mirror border stitches, natural dye saturation, and cowrie shell sizing are characteristic hallmarks of true artisan authenticity, not manufacturing defects.
3.Pricing, Currency & Payment Gateway
- Currency: All prices displayed on our website are in Indian Rupees (INR ₹) and are inclusive of applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) unless explicitly noted.
- Price Integrity: We reserve the right to revise prices for upcoming artisan batches based on raw material fluctuations (handloom silks, khadi, natural mirrors) without prior notice. Once an order or token is placed, your quoted price is locked.
- Payment Facilitation: Payments are processed via our secure partner Razorpay. We accept all major Indian and international debit/credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, RuPay), UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM), and NetBanking.
4.Pre-Booking & Made-to-Order Mechanism
Due to the time-intensive needlecraft involved (a single bridal choli or heavy jacket can require up to 40 hours of hand-embroidery), select masterworks are offered under our Pre-Booking Program:
- Advance Token Payment: Customers may reserve slots by paying an advance token (typically 25% to 30% of the garment value) or paying the full amount upfront with a special pre-book incentive.
- Crafting Timelines: Pre-booking orders enter artisan production immediately. Estimated crafting lead times are typically 12 to 18 business days.
- Balance Payment on Dispatch: If an advance token is chosen, the remaining balance is payable prior to final courier dispatch. We will notify you with HD quality photos of your finished piece before shipment.
5.User Accounts & Order Security
When creating an account or placing an order on KESULA, you agree to provide authentic, complete, and updated contact and shipping credentials. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your session and OTP verifications. We reserve the right to cancel suspicious or unverified orders to safeguard our artisans against fraudulent bulk reselling.
6.Intellectual Property & Heritage Protection
All trademarks, product photography, artisan documentary portraits, design patterns, logos, and website software are the intellectual property of KESULA Handicrafts. Unauthorized reproduction, scraping, or commercial exploitation without prior written consent is strictly prohibited and subject to legal prosecution under Indian copyright laws.
7.Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions and any separate agreements whereby we provide you goods or services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal dispute, arbitration, or claim arising out of your purchase shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Kalaburagi, Karnataka, India.
